  A Day in Pacific Beach A perfect day in Pacific Beach can start at our famous neighbor, Kono’s Café. Just a block along the Boardwalk, Kono’s features Breakfast sandwiches, burritos and classic burgers and salads from 7am to 3pm daily (4pm Sat and Sun).   Grab an Egg Burrito (#2 is a fav!) and bring it to the waterfront tables and watch the surfers by Crystal Pier. Kono’s owners intended to open a Mexican restaurant that offered cone shaped tacos, giving “Kono’s” its name back when they opened in 1991. Kono’s remained open throughout 2020 and we love supporting a local business! Time to burn off the calories with a bike, scooter or skates and cruise along the Pacific Beach Boardwalk. Ride for miles on this paved Boardwalk from north of Pacific View Inn all the way down past Ocean Beach.
